Is Victor Maia the Realtor For You?

Victor Maia is a Realtor at Keller Williams. He isn't happy with the business he's getting. He spends his time looking through obituaries for vulnerable people he can approach. Victor Maia approaches families whose loved ones have just passed away, informing them that he wants to buy their house, their jewelry, or anything else the person may have. By doing this, he is pouring salt in an open wound. People should be consoled at a time like this, not taken advantage of. Animals who prey on the dead are called scavengers. An example is a vulture.
Victor Maia is not a businessman. He is a despicable animal who takes advantage of the weak and mourning when his business isn't profitable enough. If you live in Bucks, Montgomery, or Philadelphia, and have recently lost someone close to you, you may receive one of his pathetic letters. In his letter he will not inform you he is a Realtor. It is a plain white letter with a P.O. Box as a return address and his personal cell phone number as his contact number. Since he is contacting you at the private residence of you or your loved one, it's only fair that you know his private residence.

Ruth Bruestle, the broker and owner of Keller Williams Preferred Real Estate, is aware of his behavior and ethics, however defends his actions by saying that he is an independent contractor and that as long as he works for her franchise he is welcome to use these heinous methods of attempting to procure business. Ruth can choose to allow him to work at her franchise or not. She can choose to ask him to cease this practice or not. Being an independent contractor does not give him the RIGHT to work anywhere he wants. The broker and Realtor enter into an agreement which includes how the Realtor will conduct his business. By her allowing him to work there without requiring him to stop this, she is condoning his contacting mourners in a time of desperation asking them for their house and the personal belongings of their loved ones. Ruth, although she doesn't think so, is just as guilty.

If you don't support Victor Maia's lack of business ethics, boycott Keller Williams Preferred Real Estate in Newtown and Yardley.
